Corporate Social Responsibility is rapidly evolving beyond charity, image-­‐polishing, and legal compliance. This highly interactive course will map out the dimensions of CSR 2.0. Topics considered include: How social investments by businesses are creating new markets and securing sustainable supply chains;emerging triple-­‐bottom line business models; the role of corporate social intrapreneurs in linking NGOs with corporations. Kogod Grad Students v. Faculty/Professor Volleyball Game

We will be having a repeat volleyball match of the Kogod grad students against professors and staff on Thursday, April 11th from 4-6pm. It will be located at the beach volleyball courts on AU campus. Looking for an active and dynamic leadership role? The Undergraduate Kogod Marketing Association (KMA) is accepting applications for its Executive Board.

KMA is American University’s premiere undergraduate marketing association. The association has hosted representatives from companies like Verizon and sports teams like The Washington Capitals and The Washington Nationals.

We plan to host exciting speaker series, special networking opportunities and lead to an expanded understanding of the marketing, business and public relations world.

Introduction to LaTeX Workshop

Join the CTRL Research Support Group on October 4 from 12:00 to 1:15 PM in Hurst 202 for an introduction to the basic structure of LaTeX (a document preparation system), providing a description of the LaTeX system and going over essential LaTeX commands and environments. The workshop will also demonstrate how to typeset formulae with LaTeX so that mathematical documents of high typographical quality may be produced. Time permitting, references, and bibliography generation will also be explained.
