HEADER: Applying to the Kogod School of Business
Please follow the steps below to apply to the on-campus programs at the Kogod School of Business and become a student in one of our <>graduate programs<>. If you’re not quite ready to apply, consider registering for a <>Kogod Admissions Event<> to learn more about the program(s) you are considering.
The outline below should be organized in an accordion fashion so that initially only the top of each section is visible.
➢ Create Your Account and Start Your Application

o Begin your application
➢ Submit Your Application Form Before the Deadline
o Review the <>Deadlines Dates<> for the Kogod Graduate Programs
o Submit the completed application form
o Submit the USD 100 non-refundable application fee
➢ Upload Required Supporting Documents & Standardized Test Scores
o From your <>My Account
o Submit GMAT or GRE scores, if required. Review the <>Application Guide<> for school codes
o If you are an international student who will require a visa, review the <>Application Guide<> to see if you are required to submit an English Proficiency score and to find the school code to submit scores
➢ Request Letters of Recommendation from Two References
o In the Supplemental Items section, you can request a recommendation entirely electronically or by mailing in letters of recommendation.
➢ Receive Confirmation Email that Your Application is Complete
o Once you have uploaded all required supporting documents, two letters of recommendation have been received, and any required standardized tests have been received, the Admissions Office will review your application to confirm receipt of all items and mark your application complete
o You will receive an email from Admissions once your application has been marked complete
o If you feel your application is complete, but have not received an email you can always contact the Admissions Office at <>firstname.lastname@example.org<>
➢ Wait for Admissions to Conduct a Review of your Application
o Once your application is marked complete you will be contacted by Admissions within 15 business days
o If more than 15 business days have passed, or if you have any questions about the status of your application, please email us at <>email@example.com<>
➢ Complete your Admissions Interview, if applicable
o The Full-time MBA, Professional MBA, MS in Analytics, and MS in Marketing programs all require an interview. Applicants are invited to interview after a preliminary review of their application is completed.
o We will contact you via email to schedule your interview
o Interviews are by invitation only
o Interviews generally last 30 minutes
➢ Receive a Notification that your Decision is Available
o For programs that do not require an interview, you will be notified of a decision within 15 business days of your application being completed
o For programs that do require an interview, you will be notified of a decision within 5 business days of your interview date
o Notifications are sent as an email to the email address you used on your application
o Log back into your <>Application Account
➢ Review your Admission Letter and Response Deadline
o Your admission letter will indicate if you have also been selected for a scholarship
o Please be sure to note the response deadline in the letter. If we do not hear from you by that deadline we may withdraw the offer of admission
o Once you are ready to accept or decline the admission offer, please click the corresponding button at the bottom of the admission letter
➢ Submit your Enrollment Deposit
o Once you have accepted the offer of admission, we will send you an email on how to submit your non-refundable enrollment deposit
o The entire enrollment deposit is applied towards your first semester tuition
o You will receive an email confirming we have received your deposit once payment has been fully processed
➢ Get Registered for Classes
o International students will receive an email with instructions on how to submit visa documentation after your deposit has been received
o Your academic adviser will contact you a few days after receipt of your deposit about next steps in preparation for the program, including when and how to register for courses

HEADER: Application Deadlines for 2017
Please review the deadlines below for your program of interest. Your application needs to be submitted by the relevant deadline and all your supporting documents should be submitted within a week of that deadline to be considered a part of that deadline group.
SUBHEADER: Master of Business Administration Deadlines
Admission to all MBA programs is offered for the Fall term only. Application deadlines are organized into rounds. Admissions decisions are released on a rolling basis for the MBA programs. Your application needs to be submitted by the round deadline and all your supporting documents should be submitted within a week of that deadline to be considered a part of that round.

Applications submitted after the Round 3 deadline will be reviewed based on seat availability in the program. The final opportunity to submit an application is July 1.
SUBHEADER: Master of Science Deadlines for 2017
Admission to the MS in Accounting and MS Taxation program is offered in the Spring and Fall term. For all other programs, admission is offered for the Fall term only. Admissions decisions are released on a rolling basis for all Master of Science programs. Your application needs to be submitted by the deadline and all your supporting documents should be submitted within a week of the deadline to be considered for that deadline. Please note: Combined Bachelors/Masters students have different deadlines, which are noted in the next section.

SUBHEADER: Combined Bachelors/Masters Deadlines for 2017
Most AU undergraduate students, including non-business undergraduate students, are eligible to apply to the combined bachelors/masters program and earn a graduate degree from Kogod in a fifth year of study at AU. Please review the <>Application Guide<> for more information.
Applicants to the combined bachelors/masters program should submit their application during the semester prior to the semester they intend to take graduate courses. The application to be eligible to take graduate level courses in a given semester are noted below.
